American punk rock band the Misfit are from Lodi New Jersey and formed in 1977. The original members were Glen Danzig vocalist and keyboard player, Jerry Only bass guitar player and drummer Manny Martinez. Over the years the Misfits went through several changes in their lineup with Jerry Only as the one constant member and in 1983 the band broke up with Glen Danzig going on to form Samhain and then Danzig.
