American rock group The Offspring hails from Garden Grove California and formed in 1984. The band was originally named Manic Subsidal and since 2007 the members have consisted of Brian Dexter Holland (lead vocals and guitar), Greg K (bass guitar), Kevin Noodles Wasserman (guitar) and Pete Parada (drums). Along with fellow West Coast punk bands Blink 182, Green Day, Bad Religion, Rancid, Pennywise, and NOFX, The Offspring have been credited with the revival of mainstream interest in the punk rock scene in the 1990s. The Offspring have sold more than 40 million records worldwide and are one of the greatest selling punk rock bands in history.
